When you see the headline “Paying Customers“, you may be wondering at first. Because in our community we often hear sayings like “Customer is always right” and “Customer is the King“. Even now, there are people who think that we have hit our business with a stick because we have to pay customers again. Do not be discouraged if our customers turn around and say, “Hey, this teacher is back!”
In fact, you may have heard the above saying, but in real life, customers are the ones who have been subjected to repeated harassment by sellers. During my working life, I had to spend a whole day working from another business unit in the business unit where one of my brothers was in the office.
When it was time for lunch, I looked for a restaurant and saw that there was nothing but a tea shop nearby. There was nothing special about it, so I ordered a salad with scrambled eggs, and the waitress insisted that it could not be fried. Hmmm, why not tell me why you’re so busy? There was no shop nearby, so the senior manager, Maung Kaung Gyi, could not help but smile sweetly and say, “Yes, I can.” Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either.
In fact, it is natural for many buyers in Myanmar to be paid with their own money. Suppose the flesh falls off. With the advent of social media and Facebook, customer service has expanded and people have become more and more free from grievances. This does not mean that sellers can not pay customers. It can be paid. The sellers are also people and sometimes I realize they want to be quiet. So I want to share the right way with customers.
If you pay customers, you can not pay big bills like this. The rice cooker will break. So the following conditions can be met:
1. Our Product Is Critical To Customer’s Business.
If the seller’s product is a very rare and essential product for the buyer’s business, the customer can be reimbursed. It also means that your business will be able to run or be successful if you get the product from you. In that case, the seller will provide you genuine articles as he does not want to tarnish his own image. For example, due to the US-China trade war, China is less worried about US sanctions because of its scarce rare earth metals. It also has a long way to go before the 5G technology that the Americans fear. So if your product is critical and not very sensitive to the customer’s business, you will be more likely to respond.
2. Switching Cost.
Switching cost is a situation in which the customer has a pain point in order to switch from one supplier to another. For example, I have a small grocery store in front of my house. It’s a little more than fifty-one hundred, and the shopkeepers are good-looking. About 15 minutes walk to the mini mart at the top of the road.
Better service and more equipment. But I only buy from the grocery store in front of my house during this rainy season. This is because the mini mart takes about 15 minutes to walk, takes time, effort, and has less convenience. Therefore, if the customer buys from you to someone else and he has high switching costs, you will be able to pay more. Some create high switching costs so that their customers do not switch to another.
3. Product Quality and Unique Features.
This does not need to be very specific. If all else fails, get ideas from others. Lamborghini, for example, does not advertise to anyone and does not open showrooms in every city. And again, these would mean that you have to spend for these processes. Let’s be clear. Even if the product quality is the same, the situation is the same if your product has unique features and features.
4. I Am The Only One Supplier.
This is exactly what happened in Burma, and it was like the top tea shop experience I had. If the seller is the only one who can monopolize the market of a particular area, then any buyer can.
5. Customer’s Ability To Bypass Your Business.
It depends on the quality and expertise of the customer. Even if you are selling a product but the customer does not buy it from you, the customer will go to the source and buy it. If this is bypassed, your business will be ruined. But if you do not know where your source came from, in other words, if you can maintain the trade secret and the customer can not find the source, you can still settle.
6. How Much Customer Buys.
Another factor is that depending on the amount of purchase they make on all buyers, the seller may have to pay differently. For example, if you buy only ten and buy a hundred now, the seller will give you a cheaper price per 100 buyers, and the buyer will pay less than 100 buyers.
7. Our Products Are Standard Or Specialized Items For Customer.
This is a situation where your products are tailored to your customers and tailored to their needs. Or it may be that an influential organization, such as a government, requires customers to buy from this seller and that their product becomes the standard for customers.
If so, give it a try. For example, you have to give a lot of photos to the seafarers’ office during your life as a sailor. The seafarers’ office has stated that it will only accept photos taken with photo paper with anchors on the back. So none of the shops outside had the documents with the anchor background, only the ones that were open inside the seafarers’ office. Miss, The photo shop’s roof and sales are unbelievable. Even the captains of ships, including the Queen Mother, bow their heads when they enter the shop.
In fact, since the customer is the lifeblood of your business, it is impossible for your business to be successful if you have a strong image. For one of the reasons above, customers may still be tolerant of their payments, but these factors can easily be ruined by external factors or improved customer service by competitors.
Therefore, I would like to advise you to do your best in customer service. Even if you can afford the above points, you should only use these points for simple concessions such as price negotiations, and take the opportunity to share with your customers that it is most important to build lasting customers into your business’s loyal customers forever. Adequate knowledge can easily overcome serious difficulties.
